This blog has become a type of therapy for me, and don’t get me wrong I love the therapy sessions where I just sit and talk to someone. However in a therapy session it is unedited words so everything I say gets studied. Which is great and all but I would rather be able to sit on my on and write up something that makes me smile and feel proud about.
Through out the last few days I have posted pretty frequently and I have enjoyed it. I don’t expect it to last to long but I’m enjoying being able to put my opinion somewhere even if its just to a blog that barely anyone reads.
If you are having issues feeling like you have no one to vent to or your opinion isn’t heard try writing or blogging about it. I have been writing since my freshman year an I have always loved that I had somewhere to got to write about how I felt without feeling judged about what I was saying.(I do read back and laugh about some of the stuff though)
some things to write about are;
- what you have been up to and what has been making you smile more.
- who you like or who you have been hanging out with.
- something that has happened that has mad you super mad or happy.
- something you don’t want to forget like and event or experience.
- your opinion on a topic that has been going around.
When your writing always remember to be totally honest and not be ashamed about how you feel. The only way you will get some good writing is if your totally truthful. Use that time as you’re writing to be your own type of therapy to be able to write about what ever you want.
